Mom Wagon Fund

I have run into a series of unfortunate events that have brought me to ask for your willingness to help me today. I am trying to raise money to buy or use as a down payment on a more reliable vehicle for me and my children.

Just this last week as I was heading to pick up my kids for my weekly time with them, my Chrysler Town and Country and my only vehicle, broke down on the highway.

After having it towed to two different mechanics, I have now found out that the transmission is dead and the cost to replace the transmission is more than the value of the car, so I have decided that it is time to find a gently used car, so I can see my kids and get them back and forth to school. Without access to a car, I won't be able to see my kids.

The challenge I'm in is that I'm in the middle of an active bankruptcy that stems from my divorce and I have 2 years to go. I have a small amount of savings as an emergency fund, and a few friends that are willing to assist me... but it is not enough. I'm looking for any assistance anyone is willing to provide. Even if someone has a car that I can borrow in the mean time.

Thank you for hearing me out as I am mortified that I have had to post this but I am truly out of options. I am also a freelance photographer and would be willing to pay anyone back with a photoshoot for your personal or business needs.
