Momma Bear

Please help me save my daughter from the mental and emotional (and possibly other) abuse. She is a beautiful, bright little spirit. In doing so, you will be helping me take the next steps to help us today and other women and children who need to use the courts/legal system to move forward safely. Due to the nature of my current situation - I need to stay anonymous - but after this is all done, I will publicly tell my story. I will also work directly with people that are struggling through this type of mess, by creating a non-profit group to help with legal fees.

I am defending myself against a very violent, abusive ex spouse. He seriously assaulted me 3 times, and abused me in ways I am shocked I tolerated. I understand why I stayed now. It is a hard place to be. It is an insidious, gradual wearing down of who you are. I have been stressing about my situation. It is bleak, and I need to fight all the way for my daughter. He wants shared custody - and I know the devastating effects that will have on her.

I need the funds to pay my legal fees immediately, as trial is approaching. I was trying to represent myself (due to lack of funds), but it is both a very difficult thing to do and I do not have the legal skills only my love for my daughter.

I promise you, that I will pay this forward 100 fold.
I am eager to be in a position to start an annual fundraiser to help others in my situation.
