Momma Liz's Medical Bill Fund

Hi everyone,

In March of 2023, Momma Liz had a seizure that sent her to the ICU. There, we found out she had stage IV lung cancer that had spread to her brain. She was having continual seizures which led her to being medically sedated and intubated. After having brain surgery to remove a tumor that was causing the seizures, she miraculously woke up and completed a 2 week inpatient rehab program and was back at home.

After two weeks at home, Momma Liz, unfortunately, had a severe fall breaking six ribs and puncturing a lung, which put her back in the ICU for 10 days. From there, she was back in a rehab facility using all of her strength to get home.

Despite her best efforts in rehab, the cancer continued to spread from her lungs and brain to her liver and spine.

After 3 long months of being in and out of hospitals and rehabs, on June 26th, Momma Liz passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones with Bruce Springsteen playing "Born to Run" in the background.
