Mommy has Cancer - Caring for Christine Carey

Donation protected
Meet my friend Allie, she’s 9 years old. When I first met Allie, I was recovering from back surgery, she and her grandma (Damma Cheryl) would come and visit me. Kind-hearted little Allie, was like an angel, exceptionally compassionate for her young age. I knew then, she had extrodinarly special parents. I always hoped I could repay Allie and Cheryl for those visits that meant so much to me.
That time has come, 3 weeks ago Allie’s world was turned upside down. Sadly, her mommy Christine (only 36 years old) was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic cancer. Since then, Christine has had 7 blood transfusions, 2 hospital admissions, biopsies, labs, scans, etc. all while trying to navigate her pain and the news of her prognosis.
Unfortunately, almost all of us have known someone who has had to endure the horrors of cancer but most of us are adults. Allie should be enjoying summer vacation with her mommy and daddy like other little kids but thats not the case. Instead, her reality is heartbreaking and she is experiencing a crash course in cancer.
With incredible determination, her father Adam. is doing his best to shoulder the responsibility of running his business, holding down the household, being strong for Allie and caring for his sick wife. Being self-employed, he doesn’t have paid vacation or sick days. There is no comfort for him.
Meanwhile, the insurmountable medical bills are already overwhelming, with more to come.
They aren't the type to ask for help so I’m doing it for them. Respectfully, I’m asking for support to assist Allie’s parents with their $8,500 deductible to ease a small portion of the enormous challenges they are facing.
I can only imagine how this little family is desperately holding on. All mothers need a village to raise their children, a mother coping with stage 4 cancer needs more than a village. Please help me make Christine, Adam and Allie feel loved by keeping them close in your thoughts and prayers.
If we can alleviate some of the financial stress while Christine is battling cancer, this would help Allie and her daddy in so many ways. If you can contribute in any way I know they would be immensely grateful.
