Mom’s Stroke Recovery

This is the Abreu family, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. My family and I have been blindsided on Monday, August 1. My mother had a stroke, She recently had her 1st stroke in November, making this the second one in one year. Medical professionals have stated that this cerebrovascular accident (stroke) has weakened her muscles and has given her difficulty in moving her limbs. We are in the process of moving my mother into an inpatient clinic where she will be receiving physical therapy. Those who know my mother would know that she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet in your life. She is kind, down to earth, and most importantly someone who cares deeply for others. She treats everyone including my friends as if they were her children. My mother is the type of woman that will cook and even clean their homes for nothing in return, she puts others before herself and loves to offer a helping hand when needed.

That being said. My mother has to go through physical therapy in a recovery center for her to heal from the stroke and get her body back to normal. Although doctors say she will not be the same anymore if she doesn’t get this treatment, we are confident that she will get better. God willing, we all know that she’s a warrior and she will overcome. For that she needs our help, Her insurance only covers the great majority of the recovery process, so the rest of the funds would have to come out of pocket. Any contribution will be gladly appreciated and also help my mother recover from the life that she had before this terrible incident. God bless. Help my family pray for a speedy recovery.
