Mom's Unexpected Journey

Life is quite funny, once you think you're going in one direction, life throws a curb ball. I'm a few weeks shy of my 40th birthday and making plans for my daughter to come home from the hospital. Our daughter has spent 11 hard months at childrens, https://youtu.be/lhEFPNENJr8
and we are finally going to have her home. Then we find out I have cancer.
I pretty much pushed it to the back of my mind and didn't process it for awhile. The plans of Maddie coming home consumes my thoughts, which is a good thing. But then I saw the infusion room at the cancer center and it became very real to me, I am going to have a long road ahead of me.
The one thing I've learned through the process with Maddie is that we don't have to do this alone and it's okay to askfor help, which is sometimes hard for us. My husband and I work 40 hours a week, moved into a new house to accommodate Maddie's equipment, and now I have cancer. I've taken so much time off up to this point and I will eventuallly need to take FMLA for a month or two.
So I'm reaching out for help, and I know the kindness of loved ones and strangers can make things happen.I know this to be true, because it saved our daughters life. If you would like to read her story ,please go to this link:
