Mona Simpsons memorial and cremation expenses
Donation protected
As most people know, our family is not one to ask for help, but we recently lost someone very dear to us. My mother-in-law, Mona Simpson, is currently in the hospital and has been taken off life support.
This was sudden for all of us and her family. Due to it being sudden, we had no time to prepare for any upcoming expenses. Unfortunately, Mona did not have a will or any life insurance in place to help with funeral or memorial expenses. So it has been placed on us to cover all expenses.
Mona had recently had bypass surgery, which had gone well. A few days prior to her hospitalization, we had spoken to her, and she had told us she was healing and that she had many weeks of therapy coming up. Unfortunately, Mona had a stroke a few days after that. When she arrived at the hospital for the stroke, they administered a clot buster to stop the stroke. Sadly, the side effects of the clot buster were brain bleeds, which is what Mona ended up having. After that, we were told by doctors that the damage was irreversible and Mona would not have any quality of life.
Mona had a special needs daughter, Mandy, who was cared for full-time by Mona. We will also be taking care of Mandy and having her come live with us.
Even if you cannot donate, we just ask that you lift Mona and all of our family up in your prayers during this hard time. Also, if you have made time to read our story, thank you.
