Mondo Migliore, learning united from “Α” to “Ω”

Did you know that migraine affects 1 billion people (and it is the 3rd most prevalent illness in the world)? 
Did you know that depression is the leading cause of disability?  
Did you know that every year close to 800 000 people take their own life (and many more attempt it)?  

That is a person killing himself every 40 seconds.

Can we learn to be better than that?
We — at Mondo Migliore — believe so, and this is enshrined in our values of Life, Learning, Love, Service, and Unity. 

Where can those values lead us to?
Our values inspired our vision of a better future, a future where we  - the most intelligent creatures in this world - have learned to no longer kill each other in suicides, wars, conflicts and crimes.  

With a vision and values so bold, our long term objectives are bold too, we want to reduce unnecessary deaths. And our utmost objective is to reach:

Zero Homicides Worldwide by 2040!!!

Now we know that sounds crazy. We also know that  we, humans, united have achieved more difficult objectives: we learnt to fly (on airplanes), we went outside our planet (to outer space and the moon), we have learnt to communicate in more effective ways (via the internet). When we set our minds to a shared objective we are capable of unimaginable things.

We also know that “vision without action is just a dream, action without vision just passes the time, and vision with action can change the world.”  Therefore, we  like to have a strategy so that we can take action. We also like to keep our values, our vision, our objectives and our strategy open and transparent so that anyone and everyone can contribute.

Our strategy is clear and is the culmination of our values, our vision, and our objectives. Our strategy is to learn first and foremost.
We are learning that there is a link among all those concepts:
1. learning
2. autism and schizophrenia
3. headache and migraine
4. anxiety and depression
5. suicide
6. homicide

We believe that we can learn to conquer all of them, one step at a time. Starting from the first all the way to the last.


Our plan is as bold as our strategy and it is to learn (and conquer) all of them in the following time frame:

1. learning 2019 ✔
2. autism by 2022 and schizophrenia by 2024
3. headache by 2026 and migraine by 2028
4. anxiety by 2030 and depression by 2032
5. suicide by 2035
6. homicide by 2040

We have already learnt (and conquered) learning and we have made that transparent too:

We are convinced that, with focus, we can learn a lot more about autism and even more about other mental health issues, including headache, migraine, anxiety, depression, suicide and homicide.
