Hello, my name is Shonna McGilbert, I am the daughter of Wallace Dee McGilbert Sr.

He was from TeesNosPos, AZ. However, resided in Shiprock, NM. He passed away on July 7th, 2023 in Durango, CO

He was a Purple Heart Korean War Veteran, a Roadman and Member of Native American Church.

He worked for the Navajo Tribe for many, many years. Served as a Community and tribal leader, Chapter President and Council Delegate. Also, served on TeecNosPos School Board, Health Board and NECA Board Member for 9 years till he recently retired. Our father made many improvements throughout his career.

We, as his children, are reaching out to our relatives and all those who knew our beloved father and grandfather to please assist us with monetary donations for funeral expenses.
