Monetary Donations for Family of Trevor Luckey
Donation protected
UPDATE: The plan changed after I started the fundraiser so I wanted to give an update. Children's Hospital was unable to take Trevor so he was transferred to Presby in Pittsburgh. He arrived there at about 7 pm tonight. His levels have come down a little bit. Just to give you an idea.....a normal creatinine level for a male should be under 1.4.......creatinine is removed from the body directly through the kidneys and this level shows how well your kidneys are working. Trevor's level earlier today was 12, it lowered to 10.1 so that is positive. The CK level for a male can range from 55-170. This is an enzyme that is mainly in your muscles and heart. Trevor's CK level was 6,000 and has lowered today to 3,400. Still very serious numbers and the reason he needs dialysis immediately. This is the plan for him to receive it as soon as possible.
Thank you for your donations so far, they will alleviate stress from an already stressed-out family and they are much appreciated. God is working His magic and we must trust in His plan.
With permission from my family, I'd like to ask for donations for people that are very near and dear to me. My great-nephew, Trevor, is a spunky 16-year-old living his best life until Sunday when things took a dramatic turn. Trev woke up not feeling the best and within a short time started having a seizure at home, which then led to two more before the ambulance arrived. He was taken to Uniontown Hospital where he was quickly life-flighted to WVU Ruby Children's Hospital. Today is day 5 and we are awaiting a life flight to transport him to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh where we can hopefully get more answers. Trevor was intubated and sedated for his first three days at Ruby. He is in kidney failure and we are waiting for possible dialysis to start. This is a mystery to many. MRI is clean, tox screens are clean, and kidney biopsy is clean......And, so we wait while his parents and family are with him every single minute waiting for positive news and a treatment plan.
As many of you know, these unexpected times in life come with a cost. I'm here to ask for any donation that you may be willing to give to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that are upon Trevor's parents. They are already down a week's wages and any amount will help with travel costs (when they do head home for a shower and a hot meal), food, fuel and anything that may arise in the coming days. I ask for your prayers as God is the ultimate healer and we need Him now!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
