Money for Marzia

Marzia was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer and she was supposed to have a simple hysterectomy.   Immediately after surgery her Doctor came out and told the family all went well.  She would be out of recovery within the hour and discharged within 24 hours.  Unbeknownst to anyone, Marzia ran into complications during recovery.   She wasn’t responding to simple commands and had weakness on her right side.  It seems while under Anesthesia she had a stroke, which affected her speech center.   She has been left with severe expressive and moderate aphasia which will require extensive therapy.   A week later, Marzia was told her pathology came back and it showed she had positive lymph nodes.  She will now require chemo and radiation therapy, in addition to her stroke recovery.  She has a high-deductible health plan and has already acquired many medical bills.  Unfortunately, she is unable to work during this time.  This fundraiser was started to help her with medical expenses for the hospital stay and upcoming treatments and therapies.
