Money for utilities and debts of the masjid

Assalamu Alaykom,

This go fund me has been set up to allow the masjid to continue to thrive since the Masjid is in need of donations to pay for the lighting and heating which allow for the weekday and weekend madrassahs to continue as well as the Friday jummuah prayer. The masjid has accumulated debts reaching £27,000 and it is urgently requested to help with whatever you are capable of giving.

The Masjid is a key part of the community for a lot of brothers and youth and we hope Allah allows us to raise enough money to free his house from its debts.

-Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.

-Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Ahmad)
