Carnegie Mellon Women's Ultimate to Nationals!

We are super excited that the Money Mellons, Carnegie Mellon University's women's ultimate frisbee team, is going to compete at the D-I College National Championships! As the fifth-seed team at the Ohio Valley Regional Championships, our team placed first and earned a spot among 20 other teams to compete at the National Championships in Mason, OH from May 26-29. This will be the team’s first appearance at nationals since 1991.
We never expected to be able to make what was a farfetched dream of playing at nationals a reality, and now our players are changing their plans–some of which require international travel–for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With all of these changes in plans and logistics for all of our players, we need your help with covering the costs of flights, lodging, player fees, and funding to allow our players to financially adjust their plans to make it to Ohio. Nationals are right around the corner, and our calculations estimate that we will need $16,000 to support our 21 players and 3 coaches.
Playing at the National Championships is a dream come true and is the culmination of our team's hard work and dedication. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in getting our team to nationals; it truly means the world to us.
