Money support for 3 Ukrainian families

Hi. My name is Kamila, and I am starting this separate Go Fund Me page to support 3 Ukrainian families living in my hometown in Poland. I will be collecting the money only for a couple of days. I have three families, and I wanted to collect £200 at least for each. I know that they receive donations. I am travelling to Poland by car, and the capacity is minimal. I believe financial support would be the best way to help the families.

I am going to Poland on Saturday the 9th of April (in the next few days), and I have been in touch with my mum's friend who is currently helping these families. In the beginning, it was just one family, but now they are three. They have small children, and they live in small spaces. One family lives only in a tiny one-bedroom flat. Family of few generations including small children.

I believe that with your support, I can do it. I can not provide any photos now, and they do not know anything about my existence... yet. I would love to surprise them. How amazing would that be? Especially when Easter is coming :) They can spend the money the way they want it, on whatever they need.

At this point, they don't know about my existence even :)

I would love to buy three cards, get our volunteers to sign them with some warm words, print a few photos of the fantastic community here in Wales, and make a small gesture towards people who lost almost everything.

I would handle the money in person and document it for you, and luckily, if they let me, take a few photos or short videos.

My hometown is in the north, and we are a few hundred miles from the Ukraine border, but people from Ukraine are everywhere in Poland now. I wish I could do more - so close to the war, conflict, many people seeking help - and I feel helpless.
