Money for FREDDY

This short video I created was based on the story of a kindhearted Boston homeless man named Freddy. He always has a smile on his face no matter how cold it might be and he is grateful for every little thing he owns. After filming this video for my class I paid Freddy a small amount for his role. He was overjoyed and told me that the money I gave him meant he could go back to the shelter for that day and he didn’t have to sit outside in the cold. I can't imagine having to sit outside all day just in hopes of making a few dollars for food, let alone sitting out in the snow during the winter.

UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone who donated to Freddy! I have given Freddy the $1065 that as been rasied so far.  He was again over joyed and shared the money with a friend of his so that they both could get out of the cold. Even though I have reach my goal of $1,000 I’m still taking donations because Freddy is still going to need help to get through the rest of the winter.
