Monica Alvarez’s Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Monica was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer on 12/1. As you all know Monica is a sweet and selfless person who always put others before herself, which reflects in her career as a nurse. She is passionate about listening to her patient’s and using all her resources to help them, but now it is our turn to help her. Not only is Monica a caring nurse, she’s a nurturing mother (and dog mom), trustworthy friend, devoted family member, and dependable coworker. Due to her new diagnosis and vigorous cancer treatment she is unable to work for the foreseeable future. As Monica’s friend, and fellow nurse, I am asking for donations to help pay for medical expenses and any additional expenses for her and her son so she can solely focus on healing and recovery. Monica wants nothing more than to return to helping her patients and I believe giving her this time to heal free of financial stress we can help her get back to doing what she loves!
12/29:
Monica has expressed she doesn’t want to be a burden and has shared how grateful she is for all the support she has received so far. Some stories of gratitude she’s shared with me are her patient’s expressing they’re going to miss her while she’s in treatment, her son helping her with her daily activities, her mom preparing meals and also helping her with daily activities, and her sister in law bringing care packages
