Our Friends, The DuBois...
Many of you know the DuBois family, Zack and Monica and their four children Valorie, Rebekkah, Judith and John Pierre. If you do, you will understand our appreciation for them and their consistent concern and love for others. They are a family whose mission in life is to fill the needs of others and bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ. It is our privilege and joy to have walked closely with them for the past 23 years. From our meeting in Florida when we were both expecting our first born children to Zack and Jason’s many years in business together, the DuBois family have deeply enriched our lives and countless lives of those around them. I’m sure those of you who know them can attest to this same witness.
Monica’s Health...
For the past few years, Monica has been suffering with chronic health issues. Among some issues have been leaky gut, IBS and chronic constipation. Even with the adoption of a healthy/strict diet, exercise and managing daily stresses, her health has continued to decline making even the simplest daily tasks extremely difficult. Then, in October of 2020, she was diagnosed with a form of anal cancer. Through many doctors visits, tests, local treatments of High-dose Vitamin C and IV Ozone, hours of prayer and counsel, Zack and Monica have decided the need to undergo treatment at Hope4Cancer Center in Tijuana, Mexico. There are many options at this facility that will address 7 aspects of healing the whole person, not just focusing on cancer. They specialize in Non-Toxic Cancer Therapies; Natural healing of the immune system; Personalized Meal Plan; Detoxification, this includes heavy metals; Oxygen Therapy; Restore Microbiome in body; Emotional and Spiritual Healing. The Hope4Cancer Center requires a 3-week stay at their facility to establish new routines and to treat the body, mind and spirit. The treatments will also include follow up visits at 3, 6 and 9 months as needed.
Our Burden...
As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for the entire DuBois family. Heading into these next few months, there will be many emotional, spiritual, financial and physical challenges as well. At a time like this, we feel it to be our responsibility and honor to support them in their need. As members of the body of Christ, we know that when one member is burdened, we are all burdened and therefore called to bear those burdens for one another as possible.
Call to Action...
The greatest thing we can do on earth is to love God and love others. We have the opportunity to do both in serving the DuBois family in this time of need.
