In a nut shell:
Monica had her appendix removed, a few days later she was unable to stand alone & couldn't move her right arm. She returned to the hospital where they ran a BUNCH of tests on her, Blood work, Cat Scan, MRI...just to name a few. It was then that Monica was diagnosed with T Cell Leukemia. Monica & her parents were told this was in her blood as well as her bones. Since then Monica has had Bone Marrow & this morning she is having her port put in. Monica will be starting aggressive chemo.
Monica is currently a student at Fremont High School, where she has attended school her whole life. Monica & her family are residents of White Cloud.
