Monica Theis is 50 years old. She’s a single mom of two daughters. And she’s been living with cancer for the past 30 years.
The past few months have been particularly tough. Metastasis to the brain has affected Monica’s balance and mobility, leaving her wheelchair-dependent. Last week, Monica learned that her current treatment isn’t working. The cancer is growing, and there are no further treatment options available.
Monica has endured multiple surgeries and countless cycles of chemotherapy and radiation. She’s met each challenge with grit and humor and determination. She’s served tirelessly as a volunteer advocate for the American Cancer Society. And she’s done it all while being a great mother, paralegal, and friend, bringing positivity to the lives of so many people.
Your donation will make life a bit easier as Monica and her girls make the transition to a difficult new normal. Monica is used to fighting, and she’s not a fan of receiving assistance—but she understands how helpless we all feel, and how much we want to support her. So please, let’s help Monica!
