Be A Knight In Shining Armor

Our names are Erica and Alissa. We are the older sisters of Monica. Monica is an incredible mom, wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend. She has been nothing less than courageous after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2007. Monica will be traveling to Duke University over the next year to participate in a clinical trial for which she is uniquely qualified. While this experimental treatment is covered by the doctors at Duke, the university will not cover her expenses for traveling and lodging. She will have to travel frequently over the next year. Our goal in setting up this account is for those who know and love Monica, and want to help in some way, can donate to help pay for these travel expenses. These expenses would include hotel stays, gas money, food, airfare, and anything else needed on these trips. We know that cancer, unfortunately, touches all of our lives in some way.
