Hello, my name is Monique. For those who don’t already know, I am a single mom to 3 wonderful kids. Even just sharing this would be a great help.
I’m starting this GoFundMe because I’ve reached a point where I could really use some help. Most my life I’ve worked trivial jobs that barely kept my family afloat. I realized that I don’t want to live forever barely scraping by.
It’s nearly impossible for a team to keep a roof over their heads let alone just one person with limited resources. In the beginning of the year I was able to earn a scholarship and started taking classes, I will be graduating in December of this year, and by the start of 2024 I will be working in my career as a counselor!
Given that I’m a full-time student and single mother to three young children. I have done, and will continue to do the best I can in keeping a roof over our heads, the lights on, and all the other things children need on a daily basis. So far I have not lost any of these. I am, however, coming quite close. I am struggling and behind on my rent. This has been home to my children and I for almost 8 years now, and I’d hate for us to lose it when I’m 3-4 months away from graduating and working.
I know how rough things are at this moment in time. So I’m asking for any help that you are able to provide.
I am in the process of making a better life for my family, and I’m almost there! I just need some help taking care of my family in the meantime.
Even if you’ve just read this far, I appreciate you cause I know it was a long one. Lol!
