Monk Feehery, Pedal for Alzheimer's Event Manager

Monk's Story

Brandon "Monk" Feehery is a professional cyclist with team Miami Blazers and has raced bikes since the age of 10. He has completed two years as a 1098 Cyclist for the organization and in 2019, he served as the Event Manager for the 12-day, 1,098-mile charity bike ride from Knoxville to Daytona Beach. Monk has been with the organization in multiple capacities since the beginning.

Monk has joined the organization full-time as Event Manager. “The bike has brought a lot of special memories to me. Being able to use my knowledge of cycling and my passion for Pedal for Alzheimer’s will allow us to create special moments for others as well. I am honored to lead this nonprofit as we have big goals to reach one million dollars in fundraising this year.” -Monk

In October 2020, Monk and his brother Shane completed cycling an epic 318 miles in 24 hours! The duo exceeded $5,000 in fundraising dollars for Alzheimer's.
