Monte Becker's Family
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we're informing you that Monte Becker, a dear friend to many, a caring mentor, a loving father, and a pillar of the flyfishing community, passed away this past summer in Alaska.
Monte Becker was a great man who made an everlasting impact on the flyfishing community. Through his tireless work as a lodge founder in Patagonia and guide in Alaska, he taught countless anglers, including me, about flyfishing and fostered a deep love and appreciation for the sport.
He left behind two sons, Pascal and Lucas, and their mother Paola.
Unfortunately, because he passed away in a country where he didn't reside, there will be many additional expenses for transporting his remains back to Chile.
Beneficiary: His family will receive donations to help pay for the repatriation of his remains to Chile, travel and other expenses, and the remaining will be handed over to the family to help support them in these trying times.
