Monterey Park Mass Shooting Hero, Jim Goodman

A week ago, my father-in-law, James Goodman, was a victim in the Monterey Park mass shooting. He was doing what he loved most, dancing with his partner at the Lunar New Year's Eve Celebration. He was shot twice, once in his foot, and once in his back, while he laid over his dance partner, protecting her from the shooter.

Thankfully Jim is recovering from substantial injuries and will require intensive care and physical therapy before returning home. He has a long journey ahead of him, and we would appreciate your help with covering some of his medical bills.

Jim is a father of two sons and has six grandchildren. He devoted his life as a lieutenant for the San Gabriel Police Department. He has put himself on the line, many times over to protect his community. His heroic act of selflessness and bravery has not gone unnoticed. Please pray for him and his speedy recovery.
