MoCo Citizens for Good Governance

We are a group of citizens in Montgomery County looking to slow down extreme zoning changes in our neighborhoods, brought by real estate developers and the local politicians supporting them. These changes will have a significant negative impact on us and our families. The harms include environmental impacts such as tree canopy displacement, flooding, adverse traffic safety, and overcrowded schools. It will also make housing less, not more, affordable. These changes are being rushed without considering the impact on the people whom they most affect: the citizens living in these neighborhoods.
