Just a dying OIF OEF Veteran, with one last wish.

Hi, my name is Teresa.

I was just informed last month that I only have months to live. I have been diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Metastatic Adrenocortical Carcinoma. I served my country for 14 years and I’m very proud of it. I deployed to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once.

On my first tour to Iraq, I was with the 101st Airborne division as a Trucker for JP 8 fuel. We were not given protective equipment and I suspect this is why I have Cancer. The one thing I would like to do before I die is to take a road trip to be with my family until I pass. I live in Montana by myself, the final stop is my sons in Alabama on the Gulf Shore.

My goal is to get an RV big enough for my PCA, myself, and my dogs, as they are also my children, to take a trip to see some sights like the Grand Canyon on the way to hold my Grandkids while I can. I’m hoping by doing this fundraiser I can get enough money to make this wish a reality.

Why don’t you rent an RV?

Because of my dogs. My dogs are my children, and I can’t leave them behind. I also can’t rent an RV because of them. This leaves me with the only option to purchase one. But my choices are limited with purchases due to most RV Campgrounds only allowing RV’s that are 10 years old or newer.
