Navajo High School Flag Pole

Hello my name is Cole Westcott, I'm a 15 year old Scout trying to raise money for a more prominent flag pole at Monumnet Valley High's football facility. Please help me do this great work to better one of the greatest high schools in our country and to help create more civic pride for the Navajo people of the area and as a symbol of our love and respect for their rich unique culture.
The school is located in the San Juan County School District in south eastern Utah on the Navajo Indian Reservation in a area know as, "Monument Valley".

I am trying to raise $3,912.55 the money I earn will be used to purcause the following items:

Any moneies not used will be donated to the School or the School District. 

As I was searching for a worthy eagle project I spoke to the principal of Monument Valley High School. Spencer Singer told me an interesting story about the struggle it is to have a quality school and facility in such a remote place.  He said that MVHS's football field had a high ranking for quality and for the setting of the field. It was true too as I had been there earlier in the year the fields backdrop was the monuments of the national park and the green grass seemed to be photoshopped into the red sand surrounding it ... the setting was absolutely breath taking.  Then Mr. Singer sent me a picture of the flag pole.  He was right it seemed a little disgraceful to have such an awesome facility in such a beautiful place with a leaning, meager flag pole that nobody dared fly the flag on.  The project seemed a bit larger than I had hoped. 

I promised Mr. Singer that I would do my best and try and raise the funds needed to erect a prominent flag pole or poles for the High School and the community of Monument Valley.

Erecting a flag pole for a community like Monument Valley would  promote civic pride to both the citizens and the many tourists visiting the area every day. It seems to me that it would be like the capstone of an already great school and facility.

Please help me do this great work to better one of the greatest high schools in our country and to give the Navajo people of the area a symbol of our love and respect for their rich unique culture.
