Japanese Bento Box a Moon Rabbit Festival! Please join us on August 28th

Presented by our Moon Rabbit volunteers and co-sponsored by Great Basin Brewery!

We will also offer an Obon Festival on the front lawn including a kimono sale! The temple has many beautiful kimono we would like to sell at very affordable prices! Come check it out and enjoy a cool summer dinner bento box style!

Here's the delicious Bento Box menu: (vegan & gluten free)

Protein - Shoyu marinated tofu or chicken thigh

Side - Cold Soba noodles w/ Tsuyu sauce

Side - Great Basin Brewery's Famous Cucumber Salad

Dessert - Tri-colored mochi

Drink - Roasted Brown Rice Iced Tea

Once again, we will operate outdoors in the RBC parking lot for to-go orders, curbside pickup or picnic on the lawn if family and friends would like to dine outdoors. We will open the dining room for those who would like to eat indoors at the temple. The community aspect of Moon Rabbit is so very important! Food safety will be strictly followed.

Moon Rabbit Prep will be, Friday, August 27th from 9:00 am - Noon. The Cafe will be open on Saturday, August 28th from 4pm - 6pm.
