Moonscape California Fire Relief
Donation protected
We are a collective of LA & Pasadena-based professionals who have been organizing support for out-of-town firefighters throughout the last week. As the LA fires move from their acute phase to a period of protracted recovery, we are raising money to implement an economical approach that effectively supports our community as it re-builds.
Phase One Objectives (35% of raise):
Service the immediate needs over the next 1-3 weeks which require the rapid logistics & distribution of basics & consumables:
- water and electrolytes
- body wash and shampoo
- visine and contact solution
- bandaids and moleskins
- toothpaste and mouth wash
- baby wipes and hand sanitizers
- shaving cream, razors, and deoderant
- moisturizers and deoderant
- warm blankets and tents
- gloves and beanies
Phase Two Objectives (65% of raise):
Once the immediate threat of the fire has passed and and we enter the prolonged phase of rebuilding and relocation we will shift to the more capital intensive needs of:
- furniture & home goods
- moving services
- repair services
Throughout Phase Two, we will conduct thorough due diligence to ensure funds support those most in need, prioritizing vulnerable populations like women and children.
This is the least we can do to help the city we love and all those affected by it. Your financial support will go towards the short term needs of those protecting the community and the mid term needs of the victims of the fire.
Our team is growing, and consists of, but not limited to:
- Evan Robinson
- Sarah Gentry
- Jack Strutz
- Casha Doemland
- Pilar Brito
- Mac Boucher
Thank you very much!
