Moose needs a Christmas Miracle

Hi everyone. Myself, Gabby Staal and my partner Cameron Gniadek are concerned parents reaching out in hopes to save our very handsome, 1-year old main coon kitty Moose. Yesterday, December 1st I woke to our little guy crying in agony attempting to use the litter box. I rushed him to the only vet in town that had any availability thinking he had a urinary blockage (which is very common in male cats). They gave him multiple tests, x-rays, did blood work, found crystals in his urine and still did not treat his life threatening blockage. Finally, after hours of no treatment they sent him off to the emergency 24 hour vet where there, they discovered that there was, in fact a blockage and Moosey needed immediate care or else he would die. He is now stabilized and recovering in the emergency facility. However, it is likely that he will re-block and need emergency surgery to resolve this issue. We are two loving but poor parents in college, trying to build a future and family for ourselves. We have already paid $8,000 in veterinary bills to save our kitty and will likely need $2,400 more for his surgery. We love our fur babies more than anything and will do whatever we can to keep our Moosey healthy and safe. Any of you that know Moose know he is a wild, goofy, loving, free-spirited, animated guy. He is a true weirdo, loves playing with chapstick, hanging on door knobs, and playing with his sisters Pepper and Whiskey who he bosses around. His life is just beginning and he has many more years of love and fun ahead of him. We are asking for a Christmas miracle to save our little boy.
