Due to our hard work and dedication, two Mary Our Queen Robotics Teams have been invited to the VEX Robotics World Championships. Our Middle School team, 985C, has been invited to the Middle School VEX Robotics World Championship on April 19th - 22nd. Our all-girls 5th Grade team, 985S, was also invited to the Elementary VEX IQ World Championship on April 23rd - 25th.
However, in order to attend, we need to raise the funds to send these future engineers to compete against students from across the world. Help us experience an once in a lifetime opportunity to compete against students from over 31 countries and represent Omaha, Nebraska.
To compete at an international competition, we must fund a variety of things; including transportation, lodging, registration fees, robot parts, etc. We are supported and funded by parents and students who share their passion for robotics with the MOQ Robotics team.
The VEX World Championships is the ultimate STEM competition for our students in 6th through 8th Grade. In addition to having a great time and building amazing robots, students will learn many academic and life skills.
The Mary Our Queen robotics students have put together one of the most competitive programs in the region this season, earning the following awards:
4x Excellence Awards
5x Tournament Champions
3x Tournament Finalists
4x Design Awards
1x Robot Skills Champion
