More Ambulances for Ukraine

Former college roommates Phill Fletcher and Terry Mangan will be returning to Ukraine in early August as volunteer drivers in delivering more refurbished and aid-filled ambulances to the country's Ministry of Health. They are pleased to be joined this summer by fellow Americans Neil Eisner, Bruce Harting, Jeff Oppenheim and Tom Webb, along with nine British partners. Our efforts will once again be in conjunction with the U.K.-based humanitarian group, Medical Life Lines Ukraine (MLLU), which has now delivered 71 such ambulances to Ukraine since 2022.

Our seven-ambulance convoy will depart from London, England, cross through the English Channel "Chunnel," and then travel through continental Europe before ending the 1,200-mile journey in Ukraine. We are extremely grateful for two grants to MLLU totaling $35,000 that are providing the lead funding for our seven-ambulance convoy: $25,000 from The Rotary Foundation's Ukraine Response Fund and $10,000 from the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia's Healing of Wounds of the War in Ukraine Fund. Neil, Bruce, Phill, Jeff, Terry and Tom hope to raise another $50,000 from American donors to cover costs incurred by MLLU to source and refurbish out-of-service ambulances in the United Kingdom and fill them with needed medical supplies - we respectfully request your support in this effort.

We are each paying our own travel expenses, so all of what we raise will go to MLLU. We look forward to updating you on our journey to and from Ukraine.

MLLU has attracted global media attention to its humanitarian efforts on behalf of the people of Ukraine, including coverage of the July 2023 convoy that Phill and Terry participated in by CBS Saturday Morning on August 12, 2023.

Your donation will go to the Revival Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the delivery of humanitarian promises. Revival Foundation has partnered with MLLU to ensure that individuals in the U.S. will receive tax deductions for their donations. 100% of donations received by Revival for MLLU will be provided by Revival to MLLU.
