More Than a Clap - A Frontline Reward Pot

There are 39.4 million people in the UK. At least 1.5 million are risking their lives - defending the rest of us.
We clap for them each evening, and although recognition is a wonderful thing - it won’t feed their families, and it won’t pay their bills.
Imagine the feeling of going through hell - literal hell - over the span of several months - just to get back to being underpaid, overworked and under-appreciated. It seems wrong, but this is exactly what will happen. The government will have to deal with the severe financial consequences of the virus, and increasing care workers salaries will not be the priority.
They will clap, but they will not pay.
The idea of this fundraising is to create a post - corona virus reward pot - to be distributed amongst frontline healthcare workers after the pandemic finishes.
Donations are welcomed from everybody and no donation is too small, however sharing this campaign is just as valuable contribution.

There are further 821 000 millionaire UK households.
These people are undoubtedly aware of their social responsibilities and will contribute to this cause - if this initiative becomes big enough.
