More Than A Game "Project MTAG"

Dear Friends, Family, Ballers & Parents

 

On behalf of Next Selection Athletics Association (Next Selection Basketball) I am asking you to be a part of our new project development.

“Close your eyes and think back to when you were a child, a teenager, or young adult. Think about the dreams you had then, the things you wanted to be when you grew up and the things that filled you with joy. Most have heard the saying "You can be whatever it is you put your mind to". And that is just what we I’ve done. I put my mind to something and won't stop until I fuflill the dream! The dream of having a lasting impact on the game of Basketball!

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

I am Coach “B”, founder of Next Selection Basketball. Coach, Trainer & Mentor. The last thirteen years Ive dedicated countless hours paying forward the game of basketball and will continue to use it as a tool to teach life skills through. Ive spent hours in many gyms all over. Motivating, developing and inspiring kids of all levels. Ive impacted people of all ages, from beginners to professionals really and everyday ill continue to work on mastering how to bring out people’s max potential. It has always been my dream to open a facility in the very same communities that helped mold and shape me on and off the court.

 

Next Selection Basketball takes pride in helping athletes of all ages and skill levels develop on and off the court. Im a firm believer that without developing the mind the body will not follow. Through skill development, strength and conditioning, after school programs and camps we strive to meet the individual needs of every student athlete. In my experience, I have noticed that players often lack basic fundamentals, team concepts, game strategies and the confidence to be successful period. Building personal connections with each member is very important. My program aims to develop specific core values including teamwork, accountability, respect and hard work that will translate to both present and future success.

Since the beginning, I’ve worked diligently to plan, develop, and operate The best program and experience I could provide.

 

One of my biggest goals is to have our own facility to conduct training, camps, clinics, tutoring and a student athlete mentoring programs. I am proud to say that we have finally found a location and space that will be ideal for us to continue our growth as a program. I am extremely excited to be one step closer to my dream becoming a reality. 

 

Although I am overwhelmed with excitement with partners we’ve already launched ourselves into the planning phase.   As you may know start-up costs, construction and permits are the biggest obstacles so this fundraiser will assist us kickstart the journey. The money we raise will go toward basketball specific flooring, professional style basketball goals, and other equipment to make the space as functional as possible.

 

It would mean the world to us to have your help in reaching our start-up goal and ultimately be an enormous part of the dream. Aside from this virtual fundraiser we will have opportunities for all supporters to be hands on with the project in due time. The facility will be For Us and Built By Us brick by brick. Im a firm believer in “The Process” and together with each helping hand we can do some incredible things.
