I've been so honored to be part of the #MoreThanMean project regarding online harassment that went viral a little over a year ago. In addition to getting to be part of a conversation-starting video, the gang who created the videos has been honored with several awards, including a CLIO Grand, a Gracie, and a Peabody. Both the Peabody and Gracies are coming up in the next month.
Believe it or not, heading to these ceremonies costs a fortune, even for the winners. Most require you to purchase tickets to the event, which can be $1500 or more PER TICKET. There's a cost for the actual award on top of the ticket, Then there's the cost of travel, hotel, dresses, makeup, etc. It adds up pretty quickly.
This working mom would love to be able to attend all the ceremonies where #MoreThanMean is being honored and would appreciate any small amount you can kick in to help. Thanks in advance to everyone who has supported this project!
