Morgan and Balyn Krout with medical expenses

Hi, my name is Candace, and this fundraiser is for Morgan and Balyn Krout, to help cover medical expenses. On June 13th, Morgan was attending a legislative session where she was being recognized for saving a young girls life in 2021. During this session, Morgan started to not feel well. Once the session was over she left Raleigh heading toward her doctor’s office in Laurinburg. Morgan was unable to make it that far and had to pull over on the side of Hwy 1 and call for EMS. Once they arrived, she was taken to UNC Rex in Holly Springs. At UNC Rex it was determined that her gallbladder was acting up. On June 15th, they performed an ERCP and removed a gallstone and sludge that was blocking her common bile duct. Plans were made to remove her gallbladder on June 16th. Later in the afternoon of June 15th, Morgan developed procedure induced Pancreatitis. For the next 9 days she suffered from the side effects of the Pancreatitis. On June 24th, she was finally well enough to have her gallbladder removed and was released from the hospital on June 26th.

On June 28th, she was admitted to Scotland Hospital in Laurinburg, still having issues from the Pancreatitis. She remained for two days and was able to go home on June 30th. Again on July 4th, her pain became so unbearable she went back to Scotland Hospital and has been admitted again. So far she has found out that her common bile duct is abnormally enlarged and they are doing more tests and procedures to try to help her. Around 3:00 pm today Morgan has been transported to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.

Morgan, wants to go back to her normal life, of being the best Mommy to her two babies McKenzie and Brantley, and be with her husband Balyn, and their fur babies. This has been a trying time on both Morgan and Balyn. Balyn, has been traveling back and forth to be with Morgan, the babies and his job. Thankfully his parents have been able to keep McKenzie & Brantley, and Morgan’s mother has been able to stay with her during this time.

If you are unable to donate please keep this family in your prayers. We don’t know when Morgan will be released from the hospital this time but, our prayers are that she will be completed healed.
