Morgan Jay goes to the Fringe

Hey friends, family members, strangers, and everyone in between. It's me, Morgan Jay , and I'm putting a show together for the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival .
What is the Fringe? With 56,796 performances of 3,548 shows in over 300 venues The Fringe is the single biggest celebration of arts and culture on the planet. Spanning the full month of August, its sheer size and volume of shows is overwhelming but can be a platform for artists like myself to gain recognition abroad and even here in the states.
What will I be doing there? An hour long performance of my music and comedy EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. for 25 nights.
What I'm asking for? I'm asking for 5k in funding. Below you can see how the budgeting will break down for a month. If you do the math it actually adds up to $6650 but I will be putting my own money into this as well.
VENUE: $2500+ This is the average cost of the venue I'll be looking for. This included the cost of lighting and sound technicians. Ticketing services
TRAVEL: $1500 This includes flights, ubers, and public transport for the full month of August.
HOUSING: $1000 - I need a place to stay
FOOD: $500 - I gotta EAT!!!!
PROMOTION: $500 - This includes posters and a street team to past out flyers
CONTINGENCY: $650 It’s always good to have a little extra incase unforeseen expenses pop up!
