Help Morgan with bills while he's in the hospital

Hi, my name is Rachel, and my son is best friends with Morgan's son, Shawn.
Morgan went to bed Wednesday night just like normal. Thursday morning rolled around, and Morgan didn't wake up for work. His coworker had tried calling him, and when he couldn't get him on the phone, he knew something was not right. Morgan has diabetes and was suffering from Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Thankfully his coworker knew to check on him, and when he couldn't awaken Morgan, he called 911. Morgan was taken by ambulance to the Cambridge Emergency Room on Thursday morning. When he arrived, he was in a diabetic coma. Morgan was then admitted to the Specialty Care Unit at Cambridge Medical Center. There, they determined that he was hypothermic from his body shutting down. He was administered interventions to help bring down his sugar levels and ketones. He seemed to be doing okay throughout the day, still in a coma but stable. Thursday night, things took a turn for the worse, and the care he needed was out of CMC's care level. Morgan had an x-ray done, and the doctors found some damage to his abdomen and intestines. His ketones continued to stay at a critical level, as well. Morgan was transferred to Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis. He is in the ICU, stable but very critically ill. Because of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Morgan has intestinal ischemia, which is the lack of blood flow to the intestines. DKA has also caused Morgan's kidneys to shut down. He will need dialysis for his kidneys since they have been severely damaged. Dialysis will be done while in the ICU and closely monitored. However, dialysis cannot begin until the surgery to repair his intestines has been done. The kicker to it all is Morgan can't have surgery until he is more stable and his body has been given enough time to hopefully repair some of the damages with the doctors' interventions. Morgan has a long road ahead, and the road is unknown for now.

Morgan is a fun-loving dad to 4 beautiful children: 2 adult daughters- Sam and Dana, daughter in 10th grade- Devyn, and a son in 8th grade- Shawn. He is also blessed to be a Grandpa to 2 handsome grandsons: Colt and Rueger. Morgan has a 4-legged best friend- Roxy. Morgan loves to coach his son, Shawn, in wrestling, their shared passion. You can catch Morgan at the softball fields in the summer as he cheers on his daughter, Devyn. He loves when Sam brings the boys over to see their Grandpa, it truly lights up his world.
Morgan is a hardworking guy, and he is a foreman for a company that installs underground fiber-optic wiring. Unfortunately, this type of work is seasonal, and Morgan had just been back to work for just over a month. Morgan is a humble and private man and would never ask for help.
Sam, the oldest daughter, has taken the initiative to bring Shawn and Devyn with her to visit their dad in the hospital. It was fine when Morgan was in Cambridge, as the hospital was right down the road from their house. Now that Morgan is down in Minneapolis, Sam will be spending a lot of money on gas and food as they want to spend as much time with their dad. Sam has stepped in and has been staying at Morgan's so that Shawn and Devyn can stay at their dad's house to keep their schedules as regular as possible, for the time being.
I am asking for donations to put towards Morgan's bills while out of work and toward his medical bills; they are piling up each day he is in the ICU. I am also hoping that we can get some money for Sam as she is missing work, using her money to get to and from the hospital each day. With the prices of gas these days, it will cost a fortune. Please help any way you can; prayers are greatly appreciated too!
Thank you so much!
