Morgan Political Club - D.C. Trip

The Morgan Political Club will be taking a field trip to Washington, D.C. during the week of April 9-14, 2017. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Close Up program. Close Up’s High School Programs are designed to give students and educators an inside look at their democracy in action. Using the nation’s capital as a living classroom, participants get a “close up” view of government - interacting with the people, processes, and places that make our capitol so unique. We will attend workshops, congressional meetings, and make multiple excursions to visit the diverse array of historical monuments and museums.
