Thompson Girls Festive Challenge
As many of you will know Lee has had been suffering with kidney disease for over 10 years now. Unfortunately a few weeks ago after trying to shield him since March he caught Covid 19 which has caused his kidneys to fail. Thankfully he received wonderful care in the Royal Glamorgan and Heath Hospital and he is back home with us all where he belongs.
He now has a new challenge and will require dialysis three times a week until he is lucky enough to have a kidney transplant.
As always he has shown us what a fighter he is and we are so very grateful. Our girls have once again been amazingly strong and under 24 hours of having him home have signed up for a fundraising challenge.
We would like to raise money so Kidney Wales can continue their important work which we know will have helped to save Lee at this time.
Morgyn & Seren will be taking part in the Kidney Wales Festive Challenge of abseiling down the iconic Newport Transport Bridge on 13th December.
We have paid the cost to do the challenge so all money raised will go directly to the charity.
We appreciate times are hard for many at the moment but if you could just spare a few pounds instead of a Christmas pint we would be extremely grateful.
Thank you all
The Thompson’s
(unfortunately Mali isn’t old enough so will be their cheerleader on the sides)
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of KIDNEY RESEARCH UNIT FOR WALES FOUNDATION and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
