Meet Moriox Kids Rwanda, a group of talented children in Rwanda who use their dancing skills to help fund their basic needs.

The kid's welfare and safety have been checked. They are not all orphans but come from very poor families. Their founder, Steven Kayitare, took the initiative to help them with their school fees, healthcare and basic food needs and is using his funds to support them. He is a professional photographer and contributes however he can to their wellbeing. A few of the children are orphaned, and they are fostered by his friend and creative director, Shema Blaise Muhoza.

They live in Kigali, Rwanda and have a Youtube channel that they are trying to grow. This is their only source of income, however, it does not suffice.

They need a fundraiser page and website, and materials to shoot higher-quality videos. Steven's dream is to buy land in Kigali to build a facility for dancing, arts, media and schooling. With $20,000, he can buy land in Kigali and start building his dream for the children.

As Rwanda does not allow Go fund page to be set up due to international bank accounts, he has asked me to manage this fundraiser on his behalf and that of the children. I have also volunteered to help him manage his social media accounts and any other business he requires international help with.

I have experience working with charities in the UK, Uganda, Nigeria and Rwanda. I have full safeguarding training and volunteered with children across continents. I am hoping to help this group achieve their dreams through dancing, which was also a dream of mine as a child. For me, connection through dance and art is the most powerful source of human connection and love. And to find a like-minded person like Steven who shares the same vision as me and who is willing to let me help, is the most honourable collaboration I could think of.
