Orphanage Kenya
Donation protected
UPDATE - Thanks for supporting the orphanage! We've reached almost half of the goal and been able to send over the money we've raised up to now. The kids and the team have food and are doing well. I know it's a challenging time for many and so we really really appreciate your help, your support and your generosity ♥️

Hello there, I'm Loïc. I'm a photographer/filmmaker currently living in the UK.
I recently went out to Kenya for a couple weeks. During this trip I had the privilege of spending time at an orphanage near Nairobi, the Morning Star Children’s Home. Meeting the kids, spending time with them, playing football, are all memories I treasure. Even more so at this time where the situation has become particularly challenging. The orphanage largely relies on people bringing food, clothes and other necessities, however, given the Covid-19 restrictions, this hasn’t been possible and means a real challenge to provide food day-to-day.
Back then, when I was there I asked Stephen who started the orphanage with his wife Beatrice, to share a bit of their story in this video as well as the efforts they are putting towards becoming an increasingly self-sustained home. It's a beautiful project, providing these kids with a real home, filled with love and joy.
Stephen and Beatrice are family friends we've been in touch with and supported for a while. If you want to support them too, even a small donation can go a long way and I know each child appreciates it. All the money received here will be sent to them through online banking. I’ve set the target as £4,100 for now, as this is roughly their budget for one month, including the running of the orphanage and school.
Otherwise, feel free to share this with family, friends, business contacts and let's support these kids during this particularly difficult time.
Thank you for reading/watching,
God bless you and stay safe :)
