I'm a volunteer at Sharing Humanity, an organization that engages its participants in cross-cultural projects around the world. With your generosity, I am hoping to raise $3,000 (of Sharing Humanity's project goal of $35,000) by May 1, 2023, for the Protection Childhood Center Services of the Friends of Fez Orphans Association ("Center").

The Center acts as a safe haven for girls in Morocco who have suffered trauma in their lives, by offering them food, shelter, and some educational opportunities until they reach the age of 18. With your generous contribution, we'll be able to make the much-needed repairs to the Center and fund practical educational programs that will provide the girls with real-life skills and the necessary knowledge to thrive once they graduate.

How the funds will be used:

Renovations and Repairs: Renovations and repairs to multiple rooms that need improvement.
Education: Providing the girls with useful life skills including computer science and literacy, cleaning, hairdressing, and cooking.
Enrichment Activities: to hire tutors for English and French, and service providers such as therapists, dentists, and counselors to teach hygiene and sexual awareness.
Activities: Field trips and activities will allow the girls to learn different hobbies and explore their interests.
