Morpeth Community fundraiser
Donation protected
To everyone in the Morpeth community and beyond:
Although the government has put measures in place to support people through this difficult time (and we are sure more support will follow), the fact remains that this period of extended lock down is creating worry among members of our community over their financial security, and/or their ability to help extended family.
We would like to provide some more immediate support for members of our community in need, and to this end invite you to consider donating to this Go Fund Me page. There is absolutely no obligation to do so and we would request that everyone please donate anonymously. Please do not donate any more than you can afford. Members of staff are also suggesting novel ways of raising the profile of this appeal, and their efforts will be shared via this page in due course!
At the end of next week, we will 'withdraw' your kind donations and distribute equally between all families that apply in the form of food vouchers which can be redeemed at local supermarkets.
Many thanks for reading.
