Morpheus needs surgery- Osteochondritis Dissecans
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Joanna and I am fund raising for our amazing pup named Morpheus. Morphie came to us as a little, fluffy puppy to be part of our farm family, with the goal of him guarding our livestock from predators.
Morphie has far exceeded my dreams of what a family farm dog would be. He guards us with love and our livestock as well. He snuggled with the baby goat and protects the chickens, ducks turkey and Guinea fowl from the pesky fox. He sleeps and lives with our livestock, bonding strongly with Flora, our mini nubian doeling. He works because we love him and he loves us. He is one in a million!
Morpheus was injured and diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans, OCD, in his shoulders and needs surgery to “fix” him. This is a huge financial burden for our farm but the value that Morpheus brings to our farm and family is priceless. We weighed our options and this is the only one. Surgery is scheduled for September and if you’ve been following our Colorado mountain dog journey, becoming a Morpheus fan, and want to help, any donation to his surgery and recovery would be amazing!
Morpheus is amazing and there will never be another dog like him!
Thank you from all of us at Frogtown Cedars Farm ❤️
