Mortgage Emergency - Help Desperately Needed!

Hello there! I'm Garrus, my partners and I are now two months behind on the mortgage payment due to one of my partners losing a job unexpectedly a few months ago. We have been perpetually behind by a month for a while now and the lending company is threatening to foreclose on us if we don't pay ASAP.

The house is in my partner Will's deceased mother's name but the company is letting us keep the house as long as we keep up with the payments. This is his family home and he's lived here for over 30 years. We're working on the process to get the house in his name, and that's apparently as easy as getting his birth certificate and his parents' death certificates.

$2900 will go into paying the mortgage company. The rest will go to getting Will his birth certificate.
