Help Morty (Christopher) Sampaio fight cancer

Carla Rea here from the Mike and Carla Morning Show, on 96.3 KKLZ, in Las Vegas. Morty was our Executive Producer, and he’s a dear friend. And he was let go from his position, due to cutbacks in radio.

In April 2022, Morty was diagnosed with colon cancer, along with spots on his liver, and some lymph nodes.

He has been going through chemotherapy, also now has a colostomy bag. There have been other complications along the way as well - covid, blood clots. Treatment is long, awful, and exhausting.

Morty will probably not have medical insurance shortly, and even if he is able to start another job, insurance will not kick in for quite some time.

If you've lived in Las Vegas for any length of time, you know Morty. From MIX 94.1 for many years, as Mark and Mercedes producer, The Mike and Carla Morning Show, on 96.3, KKLZ.

Morty wouldn’t ask for help himself, so I am doing it for him. If you have it in your heart to help out a really great guy, it would go a long way. Especially now, after being let go from his job.
