Moses .a.k.a Moki boys Medical fund

Hi my name is Luika Griffin and I am Moses Griffin jr. Mom but everyone calls him Moki boy. Moki is 8 years old, he's a fun loving, helpful, kind hearted, loving, and a rascal child.

Last year he's been having really bad stomach pain. So I took him to the doctors. The doctor said to visit the only gastrointrologist here in St. George Utah. The GI doctor decided to do a scope on Moki to find the cause of his pain.
The results showed a picture of a cyst that's in his bile duct. The doctor had never seen anything like this in his 25yr of practice.
He sent us up to Salt Lake for an MRI in which Moki had to be put to sleep. The gastro doctor thought the MRI would show what is causing the pain. My husband and I met with the general surgeon and he said everything looked fine.
However, several weeks later, Moki began to experience the same pain to a point where we had to call the ambulance. I thought he was having appendicitis. The ER doctor said that everything looked fine and to follow up with his GI (gastro) doctor.
I called his GI doctor the next day and they were able to see him. The GI doctor said that he would send the pictures of the cyst to the children's GI doctor in Salt Lake city Primary Children's Hospital.
While waiting for an answer Mokis GI doctor gave Moki a pain Medication hoping it would help him. Unfortunately the medication did not help ease Moki pain. Instead, the pain worsened. We finally spoke to the GI doctor in Salt Lake. He said he may have an idea what his pain is from.

My husband and I virtually met with the GI doctor from Salt Lake. He told us that Moki has pancreatitis, but can't confirm that diagnosis until September when the surgeons hand heals. Then the surgeon is able to conduct a scope and ultrasound on the first day. This first scope/ultrasound will travel into his entire intestine, searching for the cyst and because the cyst is also near to the liver. The surgeon would have to determine if the liver is the cause of his pain as well. Since an MRI is unable to conduct a special procedure to truly find where the pain stems from an invasive type of procedure (scope) must be conducted.
After reviewing the results of the ultrasound the surgeon would be able to make a better determination about how to proceed with Mokis procedure.

This procedure will be conducted on the second day. The surgeon mentioned it would be done with a scope (CRPT) which is more of an invasive procedure, especially for children his age, or, the surgeon would definitely need another plan.

The pain is so severe for such a small child like Moki, that he screams in anguish every day in pain.

Please,
We are asking for your help. Both my husband and I will be out of work for at least a week. We currently live in Saint George, Utah and would drive 4 hours to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Your kind monetary donations is sincerely and greatly appreciated ❤️

Mahalo (thank you) from our family to yours!

We also need help with paying for medical bills and our other bills because we have been missing work to take Moki into the ER or doctors.
When we travel up to Salt Lake we are going to be out of work for I don't know how long. So we are asking for help any type of help. Thank you so much in advance. From our Ohana
