MOSES M. SIMS GRANDCHILDREN EDUCATIONAL FUND

GREETINGS!!! – This announcement is intended to provide guidance for THE HOMEGOING CELEBRATION FOR MR. MOSES M. SIMS, JR.

Because Mr. Sims touched so many lives, there has been an outpouring of support (eager to express sentiments towards the Sims Family). In a simple effort to honor Moses' life, we humbly and appreciably request – in lieu of flowers and food – that any monetary expressions of love be directed to the educational needs of his grandchildren (Mr. Demetric Jewand Sims, Jr. & Mr. Jevon Omaree Sims). As a recent graduate of UGA's Master's Program, Demetric desires to continue his academic pursuits to become a Licensed Veterinarian. Through Vet Care, Demetric’s goal is to encourage ALL family members (even our non-speaking cohabitants) to live as healthy as possible. And although Jevon will be entering his Junior year at Georgia State University, he currently works as a High School Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Referee – and most of all – continues to pay homage to his Grandfather, by following in his footsteps at the State Farm Arena. Jevon professes to maintain this inherited work-ethic and discipline, as he pursues his Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management. So without question, Moses continues to leave his mark on society and his community; and would do ANYTHING he could for his family! So it's easy to conclude, “There is no better way to have his Legacy and Impact continue on posthumously!!” KEEP FLYING DADDY!!!
