Moses Strong

Hello my name is Cynthia Rivera & I am fundraising on behalf of the Owity Family.

Moses is a fun, loving and charismatic 3 year old little boy who loves Marshall from Paw Patrol. He enjoys playtime with his siblings and his best friend Milan. Moses has 2 older siblings and a younger one. His parents are Oketh and Candy Owity both natives of Worthington, MN.

Three weeks ago his parents received the worst news ever imaginable. Moses was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, also called Nephroblastoma. It is a malignant (cancerous) tumor originating in the cells of the Kidney. A CT scan found that a mass the size of a small football had formed on his left kidney. Cancerous cells were also found on both his lungs and in his lymph nodes.

On July 26th, Moses underwent surgery to remove his left kidney and some of his lymph nodes. He began his first round of chemo on July 31st and will likely continue for 25-31 long weeks.

The Owity family will be faced with many challenges in the days to come, and they are asking for your support with lots of prayers and any donations to help alleviate some of the financial burdens such as medical expenses. All contributions are appreciated from the bottom of their heart.
